Privacy Policy

Who we are
Popwell ("the app") is made by Shahmir Khan ("we", "us"). Questions about privacy: tokenstudios101@gmail.com.
What stays on your device
- Your best score, your best score for each day's Daily Challenge, your sound and haptics settings, and whether you have bought "Remove ads" are stored only on your device. We do not receive them, and they are deleted when you delete the app.
- If you tap Share, the app makes a picture of your score and opens the iOS share sheet; what you share and with whom is up to you, and we do not receive it.
- There are no accounts, no logins, no friend lists and no chat.
- We do not run our own analytics or servers for the app.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows ads from Google AdMob: an optional video you can watch to continue a run, and occasional full-screen ads between runs (never in the middle of a run). Google's software in the app may collect:

Your choices:
- Apple's tracking prompt (App Tracking Transparency). The app asks before any tracking. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", your advertising identifier is not shared and ads are less personalised. You can change this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- UK, EEA and Switzerland. Before any ad is requested, a consent form from Google (its User Messaging Platform) asks whether you agree to personalised ads. You can change your answer later from the app's Settings → Privacy choices.
- No ads at all. Buying "Remove ads" turns off the ads between runs, and continuing a run no longer needs a video.
Ads are limited to content rated suitable for general audiences. Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Purchases (Apple)
In-app purchases such as "Remove ads" are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see or receive your card or payment details. Apple tells the app only which purchases you own, so it can turn ads off and restore your purchase on a new device ("Restore purchases"). Apple's handling of payments is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it except as described above for ads.
- We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, precise location or health data.
Children
The app is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Ads are restricted to content suitable for general audiences. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the UK GDPR, EU GDPR or California law) you may have rights to access, delete or object to the use of your data. Because we hold no data about you ourselves, most of these are exercised through the choices above, through iOS Settings, or with Google directly. Data retention and deletion
Data stored on your device is removed when you delete the app. You can reset your advertising identifier in iOS Settings. Data held by Google is kept according to Google's policies.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
